A new law going through Parliament could make it harder for popular schools to offer places - even when lots of families want them.
This could mean:
- Fewer places at good or outstanding schools
- Children missing out on their preferred school
- Less choice for parents
All parents want access to the best possible education for their children abd we should be increasing access to good schools - not restricting it.
No MP should vote for changes that could result in fewer good school places for the families they represent.
